About Me
I love coaching because, as I meet with parents, I can see parents who are doing their very best. As I see and believe the best about parents, I experience the joy of witnessing parents seeing themselves and their children more deeply, watching parents' compassion and understanding for their children grow, and even witnessing joy replacing fear in many family scenarios. My approach is empathetic and playful whenever possible. When appropriate, I like to bring storytelling into my coaching as I find storytelling powerful as a tool to calm our nervous systems and a way for parents to support their children's developing identities. When I'm not coaching, I'm writing, dreaming of writing, or reading fiction.
