About Me

My biggest joy in this world is working with children and sparking in them the same love I feel for exploring our world- the love I have for the human story and the gratitude I have for the contributions of all. I am a passionate advocate for change, and I am committed to spreading the inspiration of what it means to feel accepted & loved in your homes and communities. I love the great outdoors and believe our children benefit greatly from play and experiences in nature. Nurturing creativity and providing time to learn are two fundamental values I share with my family.

I have been a Montessori educator since 2009, along with my Association of Montessori International (AMI) Diploma in Elementary Education, a Master's Degree in Montessori Studies, and a Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies Diploma. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Sales.

I have taught in both upper and lower Elementary classrooms and helped launch the first Montessori Adolescent Program in Saint Louis as the director and founding guide.

In the fall of 2020, I founded a homeschooling cooperative alongside my friend and colleague as a renewed educator who stands by the work and mission of CASCO Learning. Check us out!

I am married to a wonderful, intelligent man (also a Montessorian), and together they are raising two daughters with a spirit of exploration, adventure, and discovery.
