About Me

My background is in education. I earned my B.S. in Education from Penn State and went on to get my M.S. in education from Johns Hopkins. I taught for several years before stepping away from the profession to raise my 3 incredible sons. My own parenting journey was far from smooth, and I became passionate about finding out as much as I could about child rearing. I read the books, participated in the programs, searched the Internet, but still struggled greatly. I desperately wanted to find a better way and when I came across the PCI’s Parent Coach Certification® Training Program, I knew this was the path I was meant to take. There is no greater sense of satisfaction then helping a family go from being despondent and hopeless at the beginning of coaching to confident and joyful in just a few short weeks.
