About Me

Here we all are, doing our best, behind closed doors, wondering how this could be so hard. Wondering if anyone else feels like we do. Feeling guilty that we are not enjoying every moment as a parent but are also too scared to admit out loud how we feel like we are failing for fear of judgement. Why is this so hard?

Today’s unspoken societal rules place an impossible burden on parents to meet all the needs of their partner and child/ren, while ignoring their own. Parenting books give the false and dangerous belief that we can mold our children into exactly who we want them to be, and we often ignore who they really are and the natural gifts they bring to this world. In the last 50 years, we’ve moved from “child-rearing” to “parenting,” and the connotative pressures of that shift are creating unattainable expectations felt by both the parent and child alike.

I’m here to change that!

You deserve to have a safe space where you can release your frustrations, build off what works in your family to create positive change, and foster family relationships where everyone in the family unit thrives.

Whether you attend our Parent Happy Hours sessions, The Art of Extreme Self-Care Series, or One-on-One Coaching, we will co-create a future where you can shift from exhausted to empowered, frustrated to fearless, overwhelmed to optimistic, critical to compassionate, and more! I look forward to celebrating your growth and transformation every step of the way.

One of the paradoxes of being a parent is self-care. Society teaches us to ignore our own needs to better meet the needs of our child. However, it is clear when you prioritize nourishing yourself, you are better able to nourish others in your life from a place of peace, confidence, strength, and generosity of spirit. In our time together, we will focus on the parenting challenges you face, and we will also ensure you are nourishing yourself and your partnerships to assist you in returning to wholeness and the best version of yourself. The family unit is a beautiful and complicated balance of independence and interconnectedness, and I am here to help support you in achieving this balance and creating a future for you and your family your heart desires! I am honored to take this journey with you as your coach.

For over 25 years, I’ve worked in the field of education and have also had the privilege of raising two children of my own.

Throughout my time in the classroom, I’ve gained priceless wisdom observing families and cultivated my superpower of “reading” each family as they walked in each morning. I could feel their stress, their frustration, and their pain. Through this unique lens, I witnessed how the daily demands of life create stressed, tired, and overwhelmed parents. I quickly realized that only supporting students was not enough if they went home each night to a family who was struggling in survival mode. From this, my mission became to holistically help families return to the very best version of themselves and thrive as a family unit. It is my passion to support families in releasing patterns, behaviors, and beliefs that are no longer serving themselves, their children, and their partner.

Although I’d been coaching and supporting families for years through parent education courses, in 2021 I formally began my parent coaching journey. It is my belief that we are all whole, not broken. It is my goal to help you identify your strengths, dreams, and desires to help you co-create the life you need and deserve to thrive. When you return to your best self, you will better serve your child/children and your partner. In this way, we end the cycle of lack, the cycle of unhappiness, and the cycle of dissatisfaction. And as an interconnected family unit, each member can help to sustain one another as they thrive both together as a family unit as well as on their own.
