Being a parent in our world is as tough of a job as there is. While advice and information abound–in social media, traditional media, our extended families–parents often struggle with how to navigate it all.
About Me
Many of us have little support, less time, fewer family members nearby, and are often sleep-deprived. It’s so hard! My aim is to provide you with personalized, caring, and knowledgeable guidance and support as you raise your children. I bring a deep conviction about both the importance of Peaceful Parenting and the sanctity of childhood, and I believe in the greater value to our society of helping parents be the parents they hope to be. My professional background is in child development, teaching, and the life of schools. I have taught in preschools, elementary schools, and college, and in private, public, and charter schools. I am also a parent to two teenagers, so have first-hand experience in navigating the challenging road of child-rearing. Being an effective parenting coach is about more than being knowledgeable about children; it is about being present for the parent. Our sessions will be a space for you to share with me your unique struggles, your hopes, and your worries. My goal for our work together will be to support you in building a repertoire of tools and skills that will allow you to joyfully connect with your children at every age and stage, even into adulthood.
