I believe once we're able to connect with the little version of ourselves, we can more clearly understand who we are in the present and create a more peaceful environment for integrating empowered belief systems into our lives.
About Me
Hey, I'm Lisa, wife and mother of 3 beautiful, brilliant girls. I always knew I would be a "gentle parent" long before having children. I read all the books, joined all the Facebook groups, and set up all the boundaries with family. I was READY... well, I thought I was... at some point between 2018 (the year I became a mother) and now I realized I was NOT ready and I was very much drowning in the immense pressure I placed onto myself. Motherhood exposed years of suppressed trauma, highlighted undiagnosed mental health issues, and left me with a nice dose of postpartum depression. I realized I wasn't showing up for my children like I wanted to, so I became intentional about taking space for myself to heal. I connected with my inner child, developed a deeper understanding of why I think and act the way I do, and embraced parts of me that were shamed away. I love, empathize, and support all parts of me, which allows me to show up more peacefully for my children.
As a coach, I support my clients in their own journey of self-connection, so they can also show up more peacefully for their children. I love witnessing my clients' self-love increase and hearing about how it has helped strengthen their relationships with their children. I believe connection has to start within, and it's never too late to develop that connection.
When I'm not coaching, I enjoy cooking, baking, crafting, cozy gaming, and coding. Anything that allows me to create something is a good time for me.
My interests are inner child work, spiritual health, vegan food, human behavior, and technology.
