About Me

How would you feel if you could replace “I should” and “I need to” with “I want to?” I want to help you cultivate your own wisdom and skill as a parent. I help families find greater joy, meaning, connection, and EASE. We often spend too much energy hooked into what is going wrong in our family life, instead of what is going right—and using it. I call it Asset-Based Parenting. Together we will co-construct the path toward your preferred future, while you reclaim your parenting identity, gain confidence, and feel more empowered.

Most of my clients begin to feel relief after our first hour-long session. Having a non-judgmental comrade listen and give helpful feedback out of the gate can be extremely calming. Naturally curious, I ask the right questions from a place of compassion, not judgment. Then, small, targeted adjustments make a world of difference in how you view relationships with family and with yourself, unlocking the connection you have been craving. I am so delighted by the aha! moments my clients share, both during our sessions and observing with purpose at home. Furthermore, I provide my 10-session clients with comprehensive, motivating session notes and unlimited email support between sessions. And I’m never far away: I offer single Maintenance & Enrichment (M.E.) sessions to former clients for help in reframing and addressing new concerns if they arise.

I love what I do! My inspiration to pursue this work came from parenting our two wonderful, different kinds of kids. But my degree in sociology from Princeton University is my foundation. My passion for group dynamics has deepened over time. I have observed peers with their families, conquered crisis caregiving for my beautiful parents, and headed the parents’ association of a large, diverse boarding school in Andover, Massachusetts; it's all informed my skill as a parent coach. With my PCI training, and my naturally non-judgmental approach, I have the skill to synthesize my experience and apply it to a positive framework and proven methodology to be most effective for you.
